SHEET C-001PROJECT: YOUR APPROVALSSCALE: ALL OF THEM

Know where every plan stands. Every cycle.△ SEE OUTPOST

Outpost tracks your plans through the plan-check review process — civil, landscape, dry utility, site — every submittal, every plan-check comment, every resubmittal — so status lives in one place instead of six inboxes and a spreadsheet.

The problem

Plan checks don't fail loudly. They go quiet.

A plan set goes to the city and the clock starts — somewhere. The comment letter lands in one inbox, the resubmittal lives on a shared drive, and the client's "any update on our project?" email arrives the day after the one person who knows the answer left for the field.

Firms don't lose approvals to bad plans. They lose weeks to untracked cycles, unanswered comment letters, and status that lives in someone's head.

What Outpost does

One ledger for the whole approval.

DETAIL 1 — STAFF DASHBOARD

Track every submittal

Every plan, every agency, every cycle on one board — with the documents attached where they belong.

  • Submittal history per plan, per department
  • Revision and approval status at a glance
  • Corrected sets and redlines filed to the cycle they answer
DETAIL 2 — CLIENT PORTAL

Clients see status, not your inbox

A read-only portal that answers "where are we?" before anyone has to ask it.

  • Live project status, no login gymnastics
  • Automatic notice when a submittal posts or status changes
  • Plain-language summaries — not raw plan-check jargon
DETAIL 3 — OUTPOST AI

The follow-ups write themselves

AI that has read the whole project history — so the busywork around the approval gets drafted for you.

  • Agency follow-up letters, drafted and ready to send
  • Cycle-time trends and approval estimates per department
  • Client status updates written from the record

Outpost AI

It already knows the history. So it does the chasing.

Fourteen days of silence from a reviewing department used to mean someone remembering to call. Outpost watches the cycle, knows the department's track record, and puts the follow-up in front of you — drafted, dated, and grounded in the actual submittal record.

Nothing sends without you. Review, edit, send.

△ DRAFT — AGENCY FOLLOW-UP EIP-2026-0141 · CYCLE 2 · DAY 14
TO: plancheck@fresno.gov · RE: Sierra Vista Storm Drain Improvements — 2nd Submittal

Good morning — following up on the second submittal for the Sierra Vista Storm Drain Improvements, delivered March 24 in response to the March 6 comment letter.

All eleven comments were addressed in the resubmitted set, including the revised inlet sizing on sheets C-301 through C-304. We'd appreciate any update on review status, and we're glad to walk through the responses with the assigned reviewer.
